El artículo explora la estrategia económica de Rusia frente a las sanciones financieras impuestas por parte de Occidente desde el año 2014 hasta el 2023, analizando su política monetaria y controles de capital. Además, examina las relaciones financieras de Rusia con China e India, destacando cómo estas naciones se convirtieron en aliados clave después de las sanciones por la anexión de Crimea y la invasión a Ucrania. Aunque Rusia ha fortalecido lazos con ambos países, su dependencia parece más significativa con China lo cual se ve reflejado en la demanda de la moneda china para el comercio sino-ruso. El artículo indaga en la naturaleza de la alianza formada por Rusia y China resaltando la simbiosis generada en el núcleo de esta relación y la importancia de India a la hora de jugar un rol estratégico en la red económica tejida por Rusia.
