Taking this conceptual context into account, we propose an  aesthetic perspective of school spaces  taking into account the materiality of buildings. Thus, based on fieldwork conducted in three schools, we classified the traces of memory printed on school buildings, and we also analyzed the signs that highlight debates about human rights that have been materialized in the buildings. Este artículo ofrece un análisis pedagógico sobre expresiones estéticas en edificios de escuelas secundarias neuquinas. Los resultados de investigación que aquí se presentan, se producen en el marco de dos proyectos que tuvieron por objetivo el estudio de los espacios escolares desde la perspectiva del giro espacial. Teniendo en cuenta este contexto conceptual se propone una mirada estética de los espacios escolares, atendiendo específicamente a la materialidad de los edificios. De este modo, a partir del relevamiento fotográfico en el trabajo de campo realizado en tres escuelas, se produjo una clasificación de las huellas de la memoria impresas en los edificios escolares así como también se analizaron las marcas que ponen de relieve algunos debates sobre los derechos humanos que han sido materializados en los edificios.
