Sumario:A literature review was conducted to explore how technological applications are transforming primary education. The analysis of the articles was carried out through a systematic review of studies that address the implementation of technological applications in various areas of teaching, following the PRISMA model. A search was conducted in the Web of Science (WoS), Scopus, and ERIC databases, including publications from 2018 to 2023, and 24 studies were selected for the review. The results show that technology, such as augmented reality, mobile applications, and gamification, has a positive impact on learning and motivation. These findings align with Jean Piaget's cognitive-constructivist theory and Claude Shannon's information theory, highlighting the potential of technology to promote active and efficient learning. Educational technologies facilitate active learning and optimize information transmission, effectively transforming primary education.
