It was possible to identify a multifactorial approach to food and a multidisciplinary approach to food education. These conceptions, framed in the discourses of global organisations, are the result of the particular process of re-contextualisation carried out by local actors and agents. Furthermore, the programme outlines a critical and curious type of student and a teacher inexperienced in food education. The contents coming from the natural sciences are named after specific scientific disciplines. Social and cultural contents are dealt with in an integrated way and with less disciplinary depth: both ways of classifying contents allow for different types of power relations between teachers and students. Desde un abordaje curricular, se identifican los alcances y limitaciones de los materiales del Programa de Educación Alimentaria y Nutricional FAO-ME TCP/ARG/3101 en relación al concepto de educación y seguridad alimentaria.Identificarse reconoce un abordaje multifactorial de la alimentación y multidisciplinar de la educación alimentaria. Estas concepciones enmarcadas en los discursos de organismos globales es la resultante del particular proceso de recontextualización realizado por agentes y actores locales. Asimismo, el programa delinea un tipo alumno crítico y curioso y un maestro inexperto en esta temática. Los contenidos provenientes de las Ciencias Naturales están nombrados a partir de las disciplinas científicas específicas. Los contenidos sociales y culturales son tratados de modo integrado y con menor profundización disciplinar: uno y otro modo de clasificación de los contenidos permite distintos tipos de relaciones de poder entre docente y alumnos.
