At a methodological level, the project is positioned from the perspective of the Case Study, adopting the National University of Rosario, Argentina, as an instrumental and intrinsic case. Thus, qualitative methodological strategies are implemented, such as interviews and documentary analysis, with triangulation of quantitative techniques, such as the collection and analysis of statistical data and the administration of surveys. Among the main findings, it is worth mentioning that the analyzed student accompaniment spaces have similar objectives and purposes and can be classified into three different types: peer tutoring, teacher tutoring and counseling. In turn, with the pandemic, they suffered rapid virtualization processes where the actors highlight the importance of early accompaniment, although they point out difficulties in sustaining student participation. En este artículo se presentan los avances de un Proyecto de Investigación, radicado en el Instituto Rosario de Ciencias de la Educación (IRICE) -CONICET-UNR-, cuyo objetivo general es producir conocimiento acerca de las problemáticas del ingreso y las políticas de acompañamiento estudiantil en facultades de la Universidad Nacional de Rosario (UNR) y las modificaciones que sufrieron durante la pandemia, en relación con los procesos de desigualdad universitaria. A nivel metodológico el proyecto se posiciona desde la perspectiva del estudio de casos, adoptando a la Universidad Nacional de Rosario, Argentina, como caso instrumental e intrínseco. Así, se implementan estrategias metodológicas cualitativas, como entrevistas y análisis documental, con triangulación de técnicas cuantitativas, como la administración de encuestas. Entre los principales hallazgos, cabe mencionar que los espacios de acompañamiento estudiantil analizados poseen objetivos y propósitos similares y pueden catalogarse en tres tipos diferentes: tutorías pares, tutorías docentes y asesoría. A su vez, con la pandemia, sufrieron procesos de rápida virtualización donde los actores destacan la importancia del acompañamiento temprano, si bien señalan dificultades para sostener la participación estudiantil.
