Non-School Education is presented as a descriptive category of social spaces in which pedagogical interventions guided by different intentions beyond the specific purposes of schooling. Inserted in these spaces, Didactics responds to the need to structure reflection and situational decision-making developed by educators about their professional tasks. In this process, the field of Didactics is challenged to transgress the boundaries of imagination posed by the traditional school form on how to organize educational situations beyond the teacher-student binomial, prescriptive curricula and writing-centric strategies. In a contextualized logic, Didactics as pedagogical knowledge can reinvent itself while creating a space for reflection on how non-school educational mediations can express greater social and pedagogical quality. El artículo consiste en un ensayo teórico y registra reflexiones sobre una problemática pedagógica emergente: el diseño de referentes didácticos para las mediaciones educativas que se desarrollan en espacios no escolares. La Educación No Escolar es presentada como una categoría descriptiva de espacios sociales en los que caben intervenciones pedagógicas guiadas por distintas intenciones más allá de los fines específicos de la escolarización. Inserta en estos espacios, la Didáctica responde a la necesidad de estructurar la reflexión y la toma de decisiones situacionales que desarrollan los/as educadores/as sobre su quehacer profesional. En este proceso, el campo de la Didáctica es desafiado a traspasar los límites de la imaginación que plantea la forma escolar tradicional sobre cómo organizar las situaciones educativas más allá del binomio maestro-alumno, de los currículos prescriptivos y de las estrategias centradas exclusivamente en la escritura. En una lógica contextualizada, la Didáctica como saber se reinventa cuando crea un espacio de reflexión sobre cómo las mediaciones educativas no escolares pueden expresar una mayor calidad social y pedagógica.
