The objective of this article is to analyze the different meanings that are being disputed around various intercultural educational proposals that were deployed in experiences where referents of indigenous peoples participated. The work is divided into two parts, in the first one I will address the theoretical frameworks that are articulated in three major conceptual nuclei: knowing and doing, memory and intercultural as a field of dispute. In a second part, I will describe different experiences of education and interculturality according to three axes: a) educational policies and interculturality, b) indigenous self-management of debates on intercultural education, and c) the dissemination of indigenous knowledge and memory in a program aimed at young people in contexts of social vulnerability. This allowed me to build a broader vision on education that exceeds state intercultural educational policies and put these situations in dialogue with other instances of transmission of memories and knowledge in non-school spaces. En este artículo presento un análisis sobre los procesos de producción de memorias y conocimientos indígenas en diferentes contextos educativos en el sudoeste de la provincia de Buenos Aires (Argentina), basado en una investigación etnográfica. El objetivo de este artículo es analizar los diferentes sentidos que se van disputando en torno a diversas propuestas educativas interculturales que se desplegaron en experiencias donde participaron referentes de los pueblos indígenas. El trabajo se divide en dos partes, en la primera abordaré los marcos teóricos que se articulan en tres grandes núcleos conceptuales: el conocer y el hacer, la memoria y la interculturalidad como campo de disputa. En una segunda parte, describiré distintas experiencias de educación e interculturalidad según tres ejes: a) las políticas educativas y la interculturalidad, b) la autogestión indígena de los debates sobre la educación intercultural y c) la difusión del conocimiento y la memoria indígena en un programa destinado a jóvenes en contextos de vulnerabilidad social. Esto me permitió construir una visión más amplia sobre lo educativo que excede a las políticas educativas interculturales estatales y poner estas situaciones en diálogo con otras instancias de transmisión de memorias y conocimientos en espacios no escolares.
