| Sumario: | This article explores from a socio anthropological approach, the experiences of attending education in young people and adults, specifically at Secondary Education Centers (Centros Educativos de Nivel Secundario, CENS) in the City of Buenos Aires (CABA). Based on the analysis of fieldwork records from two CENS, different characteristics are attributed to students, according to which young people find it easier to understand the contents and instructions compared to their adult peers. It is argued that these age-based distinctions, although presented as generalizations that do not always align with specific cases, are linked to negative perceptions of these educational centers, shaping particular experiences of navigating secondary education in such institutions |
