In this article we propose to account for the constitution of the field of environmental education in Argentina, as well as to consider the formulation of educational policies related to the environment in the Province of Santa Fe. We approach the work from a socio-anthropological approach, which considers public policies as socially and culturally situated processes. Within the framework of this approach, the methodological strategy involved the reconstruction of a corpus of various official documents, seeking to highlight their relationship with different social and contextual networks. We believe that the development of educational policies linked to the environment in Santa Fe is related to the emergence of certain socio-environmental conflicts in the public arena, driven by actors of social relevance. We also propose that the field of environmental education is a field with weak training in which debates, disputes and interests are expressed from dissimilar positions, those who try to define the political meaning of the educational strategy. |

En este artículo proponemos dar cuenta de la constitución del campo de la educación ambiental en Argentina, así como considerar la formulación de políticas educativas vinculadas a lo ambiental en la Provincia de Santa Fe. Abordamos el trabajo desde un enfoque socio antropológico, que considera a las políticas públicas como procesos social y culturalmente situados. En el marco de este enfoque, la estrategia metodológica supuso la reconstrucción de un corpus de diversos documentos oficiales, buscando resaltar su relación con distintos entramados sociales y contextuales. Consideramos que el desarrollo de políticas educativas vinculadas a lo ambiental en Santa Fe se encuentra relacionado con la emergencia de determinados conflictos socioambientales en la arena pública, impulsados por actores de relevancia social. Asimismo, proponemos que el campo de la educación ambiental es un campo con formación débil en el cual se expresan debates, disputas e intereses desde posicionamientos disímiles, los que intentan definir el sentido político de la estrategia educativa. Neste artigo propomos dar conta da constituição do campo da educação ambiental na Argentina, como também pôr em consideração a formulação de políticas educacionais ligadas ao ambiente na Provincia de Santa Fe. Abordamos o trabalho a partir de uma abordagem sócio antropológica, que considera as políticas públicas como processos sociais e culturalmente situados. No quadro desta abordagem, a estratégia metodológica envolveu a reconstrução de um corpus de diversos documentos oficiais, procurando evidenciar a sua relação com distintos enquadramentos sociais e contextuais. Consideramos que o desenvolvimento de políticas educacionais ligadas com o ambiente em Santa Fé encontra-se vinculado com o surgimento de determinados conflitos socioambientais na areia pública, impulsados por atores de relevância social. Da mesma forma, propomos que o campo da educação ambiental é um campo com fraca formação no que debates, disputas e interesses se expressam a partir de posições díspares, os quais tentam definir o sentido político da estratégia educativa.
