This paper analyzes the position of the communities themselves based on a document issued by them in 2015, and from the category of "new anthropocene subjectivities", vital experiences that constitute potential and active responses in Anthropocene time. From a position that ponders the crucial difference between "knowledge from nowhere" and "situated knowledge", the value of situated research is pointed out as essential to better understand global processes and problems.
