We will identify some "uses" and meanings of the written word, mediated by the transmission and construction of school knowledge, which allows us to glimpse its bounds with extracurricular processes, linked to the students daily life in penitentiary institutions.  We analyze how the use of the written word for the creation of the school notebook constitutes an element of particular significance for the school experiences in relation to certain characteristics that imply serving the sentence of imprisonment in Santa Fe. Since social learnings that circulate in the classroom are acquired as objects of knowledge from their inscription in school notebooks, this object -in which multiple meanings, practices, interactions and processes of the studied educational context converge- constitutes a privileged attribute of each teaching process. It guarantees the promotion and certification of the school cycles and a record of intermittent school experiences, interfered and restricted by certain prison dynamics. A kind of school experience score for young and adult people, assembled in the course of their pathways and imprisonment time.

A kind of school experience score for young and adult people, assembled in the course of their pathways and imprisonment time.  En el presente trabajo exploramos algunas de las prácticas de escritura documentadas en el contexto áulico de dos escuelas secundarias para adultos (EEMPA) que funcionan dentro dos unidades penitenciarias pertenecientes al Sistema Penitenciario de Santa Fe (SPSF): la Unidad Penitenciaria N°1 (UP N°1), ubicada en la localidad de Coronda, y la Unidad Penitenciaria N°3 (UP N°3), emplazada en el macrocentro de la ciudad de la Rosario. Identificaremos algunos “usos” y sentidos de la palabra escrita, mediados por la trasmisión y construcción del conocimiento escolar, que permiten entrever sus vínculos con procesos extraescolares, ligados a la vida cotidiana de los estudiantes dentro de las instituciones penitenciarias. Analizamos cómo el uso de la palabra escrita para la construcción del cuaderno escolar, constituye un elemento de singular importancia para las experiencias escolares en relación con ciertas características que asume el cumplimiento de la pena privativa de la libertad en Santa Fe. Puesto que los saberes sociales que circulan en el salón de clases, son aprendidos en tanto objetos de conocimiento a partir de su inscripción en los cuadernos escolares, este objeto, -en el que confluyen múltiples sentidos, prácticas, interacciones y procesos propios del contexto educativo estudiado-, constituye un atributo privilegiado del proceso de enseñanza individual. Se vuelven un garante de la promoción y acreditación de los ciclos escolares y un registro de experiencias escolares intermitentes, interferidas, restringidas por ciertas dinámicas penitenciarias.
