Without already finding an answer to this question, we will debate on how some forms of police violence -physical punishment and harassment- are tied, or not, with the representations of police work - the sacrifice-. The challenge is to analyze manifestations of police violence and reflect on how legitimacy is built, as well as its changes and moral basis. En estas páginas analizamos la articulación entre algunas formas de la violencia policial y su legitimidad. Nos interesa reflexionar sobre la construcción policial de legitimidades. Con ese objetivo nos preguntaremos si en la pandemia mutaron los criterios de legitimidad. Sin encontrar una respuesta a este interrogante, pondremos en debate como se anudan, o no, algunas formas de la violencia policial -el baile y el verdugueo- con representaciones sobre el trabajo policial -el sacrificio. El desafío es analizar manifestaciones de la violencia policial y reflexionar sobre cómo se construye la legitimidad, sus mutaciones y sus bases morales.
