Praise, stereotype and apparently exposed itself as strong formal elements that develop these compositions. Items that are presented as mean gaucho practices involved in particular strategies in the uncertain set of power relations between the lawyer and guaso, sovereign and subject, speaking of the governed and the governing saying. Los textos trabajados aquí, pertenecientes al período colonial, ese espacio lejano en el tiempo (pero lejano, a su vez, de los intereses de las lecturas críticas en relación a la gauchesca), abren el juego de la enunciación hacia prácticas del decir gauchesco específicas, de amplia repercusión en la posterior producción del género al momento de su consolidación en tanto género, y que por ese motivo permiten trazar una genealogía de esta forma poética que incluya ese momento anterior a la aparición de Hidalgo. Alabanza, estereotipo y parecer propio se exponen como los elementos formales fuertes que desarrollan estas composiciones. Elementos que se presentan como prácticas del decir gauchesco que intervienen en estrategias particulares en el juego incierto de las relaciones de poder entre el letrado y el guaso, el soberano y el súbdito, el habla del gobernado y el decir del gobernante.
