Much later, Paz Leston would be the compiler and editor of Victoria Ocampo's unpublished letters, first with the collection Cartas a Angélica and then with Cartas de Posguerra. He was also in charge of making a selection of the Testimonios to be published by Sudamericana when they were out of print. In this interview, he tells how he transformed the memory of that friendship into an important editorial work of recovery and diffusion of Victoria Ocampo's work. Eduardo Paz Leston conoció a Victoria Ocampo en 1953, cuando él tenía dieciséis años y ella sesenta y tres. La diferencia de edad no impidió el nacimiento de una amistad, primero por cartas, y luego de “cuerpo presente” en los clásicos té con scons de Villa Ocampo. Mucho tiempo después, Paz Leston se convertiría en compilador y editor de cartas inéditas de Victoria Ocampo, primero con el conjunto Cartas a Angélica y luego con Cartas de Posguerra. También se ocupó de realizar una selección de los Testimonios cuando estos estaban agotados para que sean publicados por Sudamericana.
