Likewise, the work is analyzed within the genealogy of other novelized houses of Argentine literature, also hosts of the occult, within the same historical period and within the same social conformation. It is also observed how the autonomy of the literary works and how parallel narrative planes are combined and crossed in the signaling of violence and oppression. Este artículo indaga sobre una reactualización del género fantástico en el marco de los conflictos de género y clase, a través de la novela En la casa muerta, quinto libro de Gloria Alcorta Mansilla, autora franco-argentina proveniente de un linaje histórico y con sólidas relaciones dentro de círculos literarios tales como el grupo Sur. Asimismo, se analiza la obra dentro de la genealogía de otras casas noveladas de la literatura argentina, también alojadoras de lo oculto, dentro del mismo periodo histórico y en el seno de la misma conformación social. Se observa además cómo funciona la autonomía de lo literario y como se combinan y se cruzan planos narrativos paralelos en el señalamiento de la violencia y la opresión.
