Probably no other genre has experienced the parallel creation of several collections in this century as the crime fiction has. I find this phenomenon worthy of attention. Hence, I interviewed the editors and / or directors of these collections and publishing houses. I believe the description and analysis of their points of view —on the selection of authors and texts, on the process of production, distribution and marketing, etc.— offers significant perspectives on the evolution of crime fiction in Argentina in recent years. En el contexto de creación y crecimiento de pequeñas y medianas editoriales en el siglo XXI, podemos notar un retorno de “lo negro” en varias colecciones y editoriales argentinas dedicadas a la literatura policial: Negro Absoluto de la editorial Aquilina, Extremo Negro del grupo editorial Del Extremo, Tinta Roja de la Editorial Universitaria de Villa María (Eduvim), Marea Negra de Letra Sudaca, Código Negro de Punto de Encuentro, Opus Nigrum de Vestales, La Pulpa Americana (aunque esta colección se proyecte hacia otros géneros) y Evaristo Noir de Evaristo, así como el catálogo completo de Revólver. Posiblemente ningún otro género haya contado, en este siglo, con una creación en paralelo de varias colecciones, de modo que se trata de un fenómeno sobre el que vale la pena detenerse. Para ello, entrevistamos a editores y/o directores de las mencionadas colecciones y editoriales. Consideramos que la descripción y el análisis de sus puntos de vista (sobre la selección de autores y textos, sobre el proceso de producción, distribución y comercialización, etcétera) pueden ofrecer perspectivas significativas respecto al devenir del género policial en los últimos años.
