Ortiz. However the conclusions will not resolve the distances between the authors but rather they will bring the discussion near on the words of the poetry and the concepts of the philosophy to the zone of indetermination where the manners of life not defined by the articulated and historical speech are faced with the bodies that supposedly they write, think and name. Resumen: A partir de una intuición de Georges Bataille sobre la percepción estética de los animales, y luego de una discusión de Jacques Derrida sobre la perspectiva de la filosofía occidental acerca de la diferencia entre el ser humano y el ser animal, este artículo se propone indagar cuál sería el punto de vista poético que representan ciertos animales, preferentemente llamados domésticos, en la poesía de Juan L. Ortiz. Las conclusiones no saldarán, sin embargo, las distancias entre los autores, sino que más bien aproximarán la discusión sobre la palabra de la poesía y los conceptos de la filosofía a la zona de indeterminación donde los modos de vida no definidos por el habla articulada e histórica se encuentran con los cuerpos que supuestamente escriben, piensan y nombran.
