First, I start from the dimensions of love and pornography, both approached by Roland Barthes and in relation to the notion of the imaginary. The love delirium and the image-detail of pornographic rhetoric feature a metonymic y prosthetic body. Also, such figures superimpose to a kitsch imagery and camp rhetoric that eliminates the notion of value. Value and norm’s suspension generate a common horizon of anomy. In that frame we can find the figures that transit the city: a beggar's wandering. My proposal is to read El mendigo chupapijas from that rhetoric of the anomalous that corresponds with a common horizon of present’s fictions. En este trabajo me propongo presentar una lectura en torno a la sexualidad en la novela El mendigo chupapijas de Pablo Pérez (2005). En primer lugar, parto de las dimensiones del amor y la pornografía, ambas trabajadas a la luz de los planteos de Roland Barthes y en relación a la noción de imaginario. El delirio amoroso y la imagen detalle de la retórica pornográfica ponen a funcionar un cuerpo metonímico y prostético. A su vez, dichas figuras se superponen con una imaginería kitsch y una retórica camp que anulan la noción de valor. La suspensión del valor y de la norma genera en la novela un horizonte común de anomia. En ese marco aparecen como figuras de transitar la ciudad la mendicidad y el vagabundeo. Mi propuesta es leer El mendigo chupapijas desde esa retórica de lo anómalo que se corresponde con un horizonte compartido de ficciones del presente.
