If the form of Teatro proletario de cámara inherits so much of sketchbook as of the artist book, an authentic critical device spreads out on sexuality and its representation. The project, unfinished, is not limited to be a work in the crossing of the word with the image but it enters completely the debate in the 80’s on pornography, giving back to the pornography his lysergic and political dimension, at a time of censorship and reaction. El escritor argentino Osvaldo Lamborghini (1940-1985) emprende hacia el final de su vida, recluido en Barcelona, un vasto proyecto llamado Teatro proletario de cámara. En esta obra intermediática de montajes, collages y escritura, se cruzan diferentes técnicas de dibujo y de pintura para intervenir la imagen pornográfica que ocupa el centro de su proyecto. Si la forma de Teatro proletario de cámara hereda tanto del sketchbook como del libro de artista, en ella se instala un auténtico dispositivo crítico sobre la sexualidad y su representación. El proyecto, inconcluso, no se limita a ser un trabajo sobre el cruce de la palabra con la imagen, sino que entra de lleno en el debate de los años 80 sobre lo pornográfico, devolviendo a la pornografía su dimensión lisérgica y política, en una época de censura y de reacción.
