At the time, the topic of sex was released along with the promotion of female contraception and sex education. The article also seeks to distinguish discourses about sex, with scientific pretension and valorative neutrality, in front of erotic discourses. The examples discussed come mostly from a cutting-edge news magazine, as was Life en Español at the time, transmitter of science and sex education; as well as the magazine Maribel, one of the national women's magazines of the decade, aimed at an audience of fewer economic resources, addressed to the “modern” woman, who published notes on controversial issues relating to sexuality and relationships. El artículo analiza discursos de la sexualidad que se hallaban en boga durante la década del 60 en Argentina. En la época, el tópico del sexo se difundía junto a la promoción de la anticoncepción femenina y la educación sexual. Asimismo, se busca distinguir aquí los discursos sobre el sexo, de pretensión científica y neutralidad valorativa, de los discursos eróticos. Los ejemplos analizados provienen en su mayoría de una revista de actualidad de vanguardia en la época como fue Life en español, vocera de la ciencia y la educación sexual; como así también de la revista Maribel, una de las revistas femeninas nacionales de la década, destinada a un público de menores recursos económicos, dirigida a la mujer “moderna”, que publicaba notas sobre temas controvertidos relativos a la sexualidad y relaciones de pareja.
