Sumario:In 1970, Michel Foucault delivered two seminars on Sade at the State University of New York in Buffalo. These two seminars, “Sade” were published in 2013 in their French edition and in 2015 in the Spanish translation. The space these conferences deal in the literary thought of the author, lies in the concern for truth of literature performative nature. The text is contemporary to the Course in the Collège de France La volonté de Savoir (1970), therefore, also close to the ethical-political proposals of the last stage. It is for this reason that this text is placed in the threshold of his last works dedicated exclusively to the literature and of the problematization of the truth as "to say truth" that is in its last courses of the Collège de France.
