Responsibility is, within this philosophy, the only category we have to overcome the division between concrete acts and the sense we give them, between experience and thought, art and life. In considering this gap, Bakhtin comes closer to more specifically Marxist approaches, pointing out as a symptom of the crisis of contemporary culture the split between act and product. The aesthetic reason is part of the practical reason and to exercise the esthetic reason supposes an ethical implication of the participant. The present article is an analysis of the political aesthetics of Bakhtin, of the polyphonic novel as a bourgeois novel, of its romantic-idealistic characterization of poetry and of the somatic as the origin of a radical politics. Desde sus primeros escritos, Bajtín parece plantearse la necesidad de fundar una filosofía moral basada en el ser como acontecimiento y el acto ético como condición de la existencia. La responsabilidad es, dentro de esta filosofía, la única categoría de la que disponemos para superar la escisión entre los actos concretos y el sentido que les otorgamos, entre experiencia y pensamiento, arte y vida. En la consideración de esta brecha, Bajtín llega a acercarse a planteamientos más específicamente marxistas, señalando como síntoma de la crisis de la cultura contemporánea la escisión entre acto y producto. La razón estética es parte de la razón práctica y ejercer la razón estética supone una implicación ética del participante. El presente artículo es un análisis de la estética política de Bajtín, de la novela polifónica como novela burguesa, de su caracterización romántico-idealista de la poesía y de lo somático como origen de una política radical.
