From the analysis of these publications, it postulates the emergence of a "health ageism", by which, in the name of "care", older adults have been confined and locked away, indicating that the health decisions taken have implied a new regression of the image of the older adult to the old, the decrepit, in a fantastic resurrection of the paradigm of vulnerability in old age. Este trabajo busca ser un sumario analítico y crítico de las publicaciones 2020-2021 enfocadas al tema de la tercera edad, coronavirus y políticas sanitarias. A partir del análisis de las mismas se postula el surgimiento de un “edadismo sanitario”, por el cual, a nombre del “cuidado” se ha confinado y encerrado a los adultos mayores, indicando que las decisiones sanitarias tomadas han implicado un nuevo retroceso de la imagen del adulto mayor a lo vetusto, lo decrépito, en una fantástica resurrección del paradigma de la vulnerabilidad en la tercera edad.
