Los primeros feminismos han denunciado la esencialización de la mujer vía el ideal de la maternidad. Esa naturalización ha caído. Sin embargo se hace necesario formular nuevamente interrogantes para pensar esa relación de modo de no producir nuevos esencialismos. El psicoanálisis como máquina de lectura quizás pueda, aunque habrá que ver cómo, aportar algo a los debates.
