This brings us a wide theoretical trends compilation that allows us to understand the idea of situationality, which he calls conceptual constellation. Since the idea of situationality goes beyond “the obvious allusion to the circumstances that imprint a particular bias to each thought”, that is, to a thought produced under a certain context, rather is about adding a critical, gnoseological and axiological perspective to it, from the point of view from which one speaks and thinks. Moreover, this implies a political position, taking a stand and goes against the dominant thinking in social sciences. After the foundations of this thoughts being reviewed, it will be attempted to make a brief synthesis of some contributions that brings to the researchers to think of different social processes, within the social sciences. Although, this will not be an exhaustive analysis that recovers all the potential contributions, but those that are considered as central. Este artículo intenta recuperar los postulados del Pensamiento Situado, sistematizando lecturas de diferentes autores pero sobre todo de la mano del Dr. Alejandro Auat. Este brinda un compilado muy amplio de diversas corrientes teóricas que permiten comprender la idea de situacionalidad, a las cuales denomina como constelación conceptual. Entendiendo que la idea de situacionalidad va más allá de la clara referencia a las circunstancias que imprimen una particularidad determinada a cada pensamiento, es decir a un pensamiento producido en un contexto determinado, sino que se trata de sumarle a ello una mirada crítica, gnoseológica y axiológica del punto de vista desde donde se habla y se piensa. Esto a su vez implica un posicionamiento político, es decir una toma de posición y va a contramano del pensamiento dominante en las ciencias sociales. Luego de revisar las bases de este pensamiento se intentará hacer una breve síntesis de algunos aportes que brinda este a los y las investigadores para pensar diferentes procesos sociales dentro del campo de las ciencias sociales. Por lo tanto, cabe señalar que este no será un análisis exhaustivo que recupere todos los aportes posibles, sino los que se consideran centrales.
