The objective of this study is to analyze the bilateral relations between Argentina and Bolivia, based on Argentine foreign policy towards Bolivia, within the framework of the integrated management of the transboundary basin of the Bermejo and Grande de Tarija rivers in the period 1995 - 2019. The methodological approach uses a bibliographic and documentary research design of primary and secondary sources and incorporates the semi-structured interview as a source and technique. This work aims to highlight the issue of transboundary water resources at the level of international cooperation. La cuenca transfronteriza de los ríos Bermejo y Grande de Tarija, compartida entre Argentina y Bolivia, es un área clave en el sistema hídrico y para el desarrollo de la Cuenca del Plata. El objetivo del presente estudio es analizar las relaciones bilaterales entre Argentina y Bolivia, a partir de la política exterior argentina hacia Bolivia, en el marco de la gestión integrada de la cuenca transfronteriza de los ríos Bermejo y Grande de Tarija en el periodo 1995 - 2019. El abordaje metodológico utiliza un diseño de investigación bibliográfico y documental de fuentes primarias y secundarias, e incorpora como fuente y técnica la entrevista semi-estructurada. El presente trabajo pretende poner en relevancia la cuestión de los recursos hídricos transfronterizos en el plano de la cooperación internacional.
