Indeed, the community idea-element stands out because it is considered a phenomenon that has a double analytical axis: intellectual origin of the concept versus current political use, all within the modern theoretical-sociological tradition, trying to demonstrate in the following lines that there is the preservation of an original idea of community in sociological thought (contemporaneously applied to government policies), but at the same time the overcoming of itself. En este trabajo se describe y explica la revalorización de la idea-elemento “comunidad” (Nisbet, 2003[1966]) dentro de la tradición del pensamiento sociológico más profundo, acaso originario de la disciplina, lo que permite analizar una serie de políticas, programas y discursos públicos contemporáneos que se basan en la necesidad de construir comunidad bajo la idea de una profundización democrática. En efecto, se destaca la idea-elemento comunidad porque se considera un fenómeno que posee un eje analítico doble: origen intelectual del concepto versus uso político actual, todo ello dentro de la tradición teórico-sociológica moderna, intentando demostrar en las siguientes líneas que existe la conservación de una idea de comunidad original en el pensamiento sociológico (aplicado contemporáneamente a las políticas de gobierno), pero a la vez la superación de sí misma.
