For this, a qualitative investigation has been carried out, along with a wide bibliographic and documentary search of the main theoretical categories, which have helped us to understand the mediations that go through the analyzed phenomenon and have allowed us to fulfill the objective main of this research. Likewise, the good practices that some social organizations have been carrying out in the Province of Valencia have been valued, among them the Fundación Secretariado Gitano, within the framework of the Intercultural Community Intervention Project, which seeks to promote Intercultural Citizen Coexistence in the Municipality of Paterna, specifically in the neighborhoods of La Coma and Santa Rita. With the project, different processes of social transformation have been created, creating spaces for participation and exchange, planning and organization of the community's social resources, and greater awareness and appreciation of diversity. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo principal analizar el modelo de convivencia y gestión de la diversidad predominante en la provincia de Valencia, España. Para ello se ha llevado a cabo una investigación de corte cualitativa, realizando también una amplia búsqueda bibliográfica y documental de las categorías teóricas principales que nos han ayudado a comprender las mediaciones que atraviesan el fenómeno analizado y nos han permitido cumplir con el objetivo principal de esta investigación. Así mismo, se han valorado las buenas prácticas que vienen realizando algunas organizaciones sociales en la provincia de Valencia, entre ellas la Fundación Secretariado Gitano, en el marco del Proyecto de Intervención Comunitaria Intercultural, que busca promocionar la convivencia ciudadana intercultural en el municipio de Paterna, concretamente en los barrios de La Coma y Santa Rita. Con el proyecto se han conseguido gestar diferentes procesos de transformación social, crear espacios de participación e intercambio, una planificación y organización de los recursos sociales de la comunidad, y una mayor consciencia y valorización de la diversidad.
