Here we suggest a conceptual cut that articulates these epistemes, in order to glimpse the bridges that connect them from the production of these thoughts in Latin American and the Caribbean, deepening the contributions of Colombia. The intellectual work of Afro-descendant researchers is prioritized, since it is affirmed that there are structural conditions that limit a greater circulation/appropriation of these thoughts in the social sciences, which constitutes epistemic injustice. Here my concerns and interest are also reflected, as an Afro-descendant researcher in the survey of a social phenomenon that continues to be peripheral within the academic field.
