The main objective of the course has been to approximate the citizen of the city of Rosario to contents that are part of the political thought –whose teaching and discussion is not present in the non-academic public space- in order to motivate well-founded reflections and interest in politics. To do this, professors from different careers of the National University of Rosario taught public classes organized from different classics of political theory in the Honor Gallery of the Flags of America of the mentioned Monument during the months of August, September and October. El trabajo describe y reflexiona sobre la experiencia en el desarrollo del curso de formación ciudadana denominado “La teoría política en la ciudad”, el cual se llevó a cabo entre la Facultad de Ciencia Política y Relaciones Internacionales de la Universidad Nacional de Rosario y el Monumento Histórico Nacional a la Bandera durante el año 2019. El objetivo principal del curso ha sido aproximar al ciudadano de la ciudad de Rosario a contenidos que forman parte del pensamiento político, cuya enseñanza y discusión no está presente en el espacio público no académico, de modo tal de motivar reflexiones fundadas e interés en la política. Para ello, profesores de diferentes carreras de la Universidad Nacional de Rosario dictaron durante los meses de agosto, septiembre y octubre clases públicas organizadas a partir de diferentes clásicos de la teoría política en la Galería de Honor de las Banderas de América del mencionado Monumento.
