The objective is to characterize, from the ethnographic practice and the construction of oral sources, the main topics that circulate in the discourse of the Moqoit and the population of the city when referring to the history of the community El artículo analiza una serie de testimonios orales recogidos en la ciudad de Tostado, Santa Fe, entre miembros de la comunidad Moqoit “Pedro José”, para identificar los elementos en común que cumplen un papel importante en la construcción y la reproducción de la memoria colectiva referida a la historia indigena en la región. El objetivo es caracterizar, a partir de la práctica etnográfica y la construcción de fuentes orales, los principales topicos que circulan en los discursos de los Moqoit y la población de la ciudad a la hora de referirse a la historia de la comunidad.
