The Movimiento Nacionalista Tacuara was one of the main groups of this current in the 1960s. In this article, I will address the main features of Tacuara's political culture, among which stand out the anti-left stance, anti-Semitism, adherence to integralist Catholicism, admiration for European fascisms, the use of political violence, the rejection of liberal democracy and parliamentarism and, instead, the advocacy of a corporatist system. This last feature will be central. I will analyze how the nationalists conceived liberal democracy and the parliamentary system and how they proposed the need to replace them with a corporatist regime based on the trinomial family, unions and towns. El nacionalismo de derecha es un movimiento con una larga historia en Argentina. En su interior, el Movimiento Nacionalista Tacuara se constituyó como una de las principales agrupaciones de esta corriente en los años ’60. En este artículo, abordaré los principales rasgos de la cultura política de Tacuara, entre los cuales destacan la postura anti-izquierdas, el antisemitismo, la adscripción al catolicismo integrista, la admiración por los fascismos europeos, el uso de la violencia política, el rechazo de la democracia liberal y el parlamentarismo y, como contrapartida, la propugnación de un sistema corporativista. Este último rasgo será central. Analizaré cómo los nacionalistas concibieron a la democracia liberal y al sistema parlamentario y de qué modo plantearon la necesidad de su reemplazo con un régimen corporativo sustentado en el trinomio familia, sindicatos y municipios.
