| Sumario: | With our gaze focused on the open situation with the return of radicalism to the electoral arena and its rise to the government of the province of Córdoba at the hands of Amadeo Sabattini, in this article we identify and analyze the mutual representations held by Catholics and Sabattinist radicals. Nurtured by the various political, social and cultural projects in which they were inserted and which referred to dissimilar – and conflicting – conceptions of the political, these representations gave rise to cross homologations overcome by the dilemmas that were affecting international politics at that time. Thus, from broad sectors of Córdoba Catholicism, the rise of Sabattinism was read as an advance of communism and, on the other hand, from radicalism this position was attributed to the fascist affiliation of those who supported it. |
