In this work, which recovers the conceptual perspective of political culture, a period is analyzed that was nourished by the changes brought about by reformism in coexistence with components of nationalism, republicanism and the Catholic tradition. In the years 1912-1930, of electoral predominance by radicalism, three junctures in the history of Santa Fe are analyzed that have its main cities as a setting. First, the inauguration in Rosario of the monument to San Martín (1913); second, a similar event in the same city in relation to the figure of the radical leader Leandro Alem (1922); finally, the calls for project competitions to erect monumental works, in the city of Santa Fe, in tribute to both Brigadier Estanislao López and the Constituent Congress (1928). These instances are opportunities to investigate, at the pace of the challenges that politics set up, the dialogues with representations of the past, memories and commemorations carried out by the members of the radical galaxy stressed by its factional logic. Las apelaciones al pasado dan lugar a la polifacética construcción de representaciones que se catapultan a partir de conmemoraciones de acontecimientos (elevados a la dimensión de hitos) u homenajes a trayectorias de vida (ponderadas como ejemplares). En este trabajo, que recupera la perspectiva conceptual de cultura política, se analiza un período que se nutre de los cambios propiciados por el reformismo en convivencia con componentes del nacionalismo, el republicanismo y la tradición católica. En los años 1912-1930, de predominio electoral por parte del radicalismo, se analizan tres coyunturas de la historia de Santa Fe que tienen a sus principales ciudades como escenario. Primero, la inauguración en Rosario del monumento a San Martín (1913); segundo, un acontecimiento similar en la misma ciudad en relación a la figura del dirigente radical Leandro Alem (1922); por último, las convocatorias a concursos de proyectos para erigir obras monumentales, en la ciudad de Santa Fe, en homenaje tanto al brigadier Estanislao López como al Congreso Constituyente (1928). Estas instancias son oportunidades para indagar, al ritmo de los desafíos que la política instala, los diálogos con representaciones del pasado, memorias y conmemoraciones que ejecutan los integrantes de la galaxia radical tensionados por su lógica facciosa.
