The development of technologies that automatically detectfalse information, along with the exchange of good practices between countries, are key to moving forward. At the sametime, it is crucial to balance the fight against disinformation with the protection of freedom of expression to avoid excessivecensorship. This work analyzes how fake news operates, how it spreads, and the actions that different countries have implemented to counteract it. |
