We consider that presenting and systematizing this information is a necessary contribution to understand the role of foreign languages in institutional curricular projects and thus conceive future courses of action to sustain and/or improve their pedagogical proposals for secondary education in the university context. El objetivo del presente artículo es realizar un primer relevamiento de la presencia de las lenguas extranjeras (LE) en los planes de estudio de las escuelas secundarias de la Universidad Nacional de Rosario, teniendo en cuenta la variedad de LE que se ofrecen, su inserción curricular y los principales lineamientos que guían su enseñanza. Entendemos que la visibilización y sistematización de esta información constituye un aporte necesario para conocer el lugar que ocupan las LE en los proyectos curriculares institucionales (PCI) y así considerar futuros cursos de acción para el sostenimiento y/o fortalecimiento de sus propuestas pedagógicas para el nivel secundario en el contexto universitario.
