| Sumario: | This paper attempts to link the rock art produced in ancestral times on the rocky walls of the Sierra de Capivara National Park, Piauí (PI) with some economic issues they could raise. The images include hunting, collecting and general relations with the natural environmente scenes. We will approach issues such as reciprocity, exchange and redistribution because, in our humble opinion, they presente connections with what was produced in those immemorial times. Our analysis finds support in certain texts written by Marshall Sahlins and Steven Mithen, among others. |
