The images include hunting, collecting and general relations with the natural environmente scenes. We will approach issues such as reciprocity, exchange and redistribution because, in our humble opinion, they presente connections with what was produced in those immemorial times. Our analysis finds support in certain texts written by Marshall Sahlins and Steven Mithen, among others. Este artigo tem a intenção de relacionar as artes rupestres, produzidas nas rochas do Parque Nacional Serra da Capivara – PI, ancestralmente, com algumas questões econômicas, que por ventura, suscitem. Entre elas estão as cenas de caça, coleta e relação com o meio ambiente em geral. Reciprocidade, troca e redistribuição serão temas abordados por terem conexões, ao nosso modesto ver, com o que se produziu e construiu naqueles tempos imemoriais. Baseamos as análises em alguns escritos de Marshall Sahlins, Steve Mithen entre outras/os.
