Sumario: | Among the important current transformations in education, school building is identified as an effective means to achieve educational update. The proposal is to identify the present needs of Mendoza’s school buildings which are defined according to the new primary school curriculum design as well as health national guidelines for a COVID-19 pandemic context. These needs are addressed taking into account outstanding school building cases grounded on the relationship between pedagogy and architecture. Thus, this work poses courses of action leading to school building adjustments able to deal with present education challenges. School building is approached from different dimensions: space features and their interaction; the relationship between school, city and territory. |
