| Sumario: | This conversation has been held in Rosario’s Tenth Congress of Students of Architecture (CREA). It aims to blur the boundaries between architectural theory and practice linking the research topics addressed by Flores & Prats’ studio to the academic activities developed by the School of Architecture of Barcelona. Grounded on their works, their training process for students and their fruitful relationships with artists and actors of other disciplines, Flores and Prats pose their concern for both the present situation of architecture as a discipline and their peers’ professional formation. They reflect on the difficulties of issues related to building and city rehabilitation based on their own academic and project process experience. They deal with the creative stage as well as the previous historical and social assessment as necessary means to become aware of the actual context within which each project will be carried out. |
