This is the selection that Le Corbusier made for the book compiling his complete work. We try to demonstrate that the images he chose and the way in which they were manipulated had a clear purpose: the reinforcement of the principles he set forth in the texts; the photographs were edited in order to reaffirm such principles. El presente artículo propone trazar correlaciones entre los textos teóricos iniciales de Le Corbusier y la elección de fotografías de las primeras casas que construyó, poco tiempo después de publicar esos escritos. Esta selección es la que Le Corbusier realizó para sus obras completas. Pretendemos demostrar que las imágenes por las que optó y la forma en que fueron manipuladas tienen una clara intención, que es reforzar los postulados expuestos en aquellos textos y que esas fotos fueron editadas para terminar de afirmar esas proposiciones.
