description El ensayo se propone estudiar dos novelas gráficas españolas, El arte de volar (2009), de Antonio Altarriba con dibujos de Kim y El convoy (2015), de EduardTorrents con ilustraciones de Denis Lapière, que forman parte de la producción artística de los hijos y nietos de quienes vivieron en primera persona la Guerra Civil, la dictadura franquista, los campos de concentración y el exilio. Estas obras pueden analizarse desde la perspectiva de la "post- memoria" no solo porque han sido realizadas por integrantes de la llamada segunda generación, sino sobre todo porque desde el punto de vista temático ponen el acento en el fenómeno de la herencia del testimonio. Como herederos de los relatos familiares, estos autores se proponen remontar el pasado y asumir el mandato de aportar su perspectiva a la construcción de la memoria social, sin dejar de intervenir con su propia mirada, muchas veces incluso en confrontación con la de sus padres, en la cadena de interpretaciones sobre la historia reciente. El hecho de apostar por un código intermedial como es la novela gráfica pone en evidencia la búsqueda de nuevos lenguajes para narrar ese pasado. Abstract The essay aims to study two Spanish graphic novels, El arte de volar (2009), by Antonio Altarriba and Kim, and El convoy (2015), by Eduard Torrents and Denis Lapière. These writers and artists collaborate with the artistic production of children and grandchildren of those who experienced the Civil War, the Franco dictatorship, concentration camps and exile. These works can be analyzed from the perspective of "post-memory" not only because they have been carried out by members of the so-called second generation, but above all because they put the accent on the heritage of the testimony. As heirs of the family stories, these authors set out to trace the past and assume the mandate to contribute their perspective to the construction of social memory, while continuing to intervene with their own eyes, often even in confrontation with their parents, in the chain of interpretations about recent history. The fact of betting on an intermediate code such as the graphic novel reveals the search for new languages to narrate that past.
