description The Greek cities of Minor Asia were highly involved in the construction of the Greek roman identity during the High Empire. Thus, it becomes relevant, the analysis of the Greek Asian and Roman intercultural frontiers elements in the field of civic communities to understand in a more deeply way, the conformation of such identity. In this process there were involved the sophists, they were intellectuals that were part of the Greek Roman elite that was identified with the Greek values and involved in the political reality of the Roman Empire. Dion de Prusa was a representative of this elite and in his speeches reflects some aspects of the integration process.
