The study is a non-experimental, cross-sectional, quantitative study with a descriptive approach. The methodology used was based on an on-site survey conducted between October 12 and 19, the dates of the festival. The survey was administered to a random convenience sample; 140 questionnaires were administered, and 127 were considered usable. The tourist profile was obtained by analyzing the frequencies of the demographic data obtained, which yielded the description of a national tourist, male, between 21 and 29 years old, single, and mainly a student; most visitors come from neighboring states. The results contribute to the formulation of tourism strategies and the study of cities oriented toward cultural tourism. El objetivo de esta investigación fue describir el perfil del turista que visitó Zacatecas mientras se desarrollaba el Festival Internacional de Teatro de Calle (FITC) en su edición 2024. El estudio es no experimental transversal con orientación cuantitativa con enfoque descriptivo, la metodología utilizada radicó en una encuesta in situ, realizada entre el 12 y el 19 de octubre, fechas en las que se realizaba el festival. La encuesta se aplicó a una muestra aleatoria por conveniencia; se aplicaron 140 cuestionarios y 127 se consideraron utilizables. El perfil del turista se obtuvo con el análisis de frecuencias de los datos demográficos obtenidos, mismos que arrojaron la descripción de un turista nacional, varón, entre 21 y 29 años, soltero y principalmente estudiante; la mayoría de los visitantes provienen de estados vecinos. Los resultados contribuyen a la formulación de estrategias turísticas y al estudio de ciudades orientadas al turismo cultural.
