description During the October 2019 social mobilizations that paralyzed the country of Ecuador put Ecuador to a halt, we observed an important presence of indigenous women and the formation of alliances between the latter and non-indigenous women’s organizations. The purpose of this article is, on the one hand, to analyze the discourse of some of the Kichwa women who participated in the social mobilizations to explore the possibilities of building analysis frameworks and tools for action among Kichwa women and non-indigenous women’s organizations. On the other hand, by analyzing these discourses, I elaborate a proposal of new feminism, a feminism of respect that recovers the importance of the collective -paramount in the indigenous worldview, for the purpose of amending the feminist reflection and practice.
