Druze-Lebanese origin, this cosmopolitan aristocrat came to have a remarkable gravitation in the cultural Argentina between 1910 and 1940. His voluminous work, dispersed in numerous articles for newspapers and weeklies, in addition to his books, is a hitherto unexplored corpus of vernacular Orientalism.
