description This article aims to make the previous reflections after the application and practice of a form of educational research. It was developed from the pedagogical questions of a team of teachers, in the subject "Epistemology of History", hard and flexible in two undergraduate degrees. Both belong to the current study plans and are taught in a dependency of a national and public Argentine university. The research has been developed within the philosophical fields of Educational Sciences and Historical Sciences. Then article studies the didactic construction of horizontal contributions. These were elaborated in the classroom, around contemporary issues around historiographical theories about historical documents. The qualitative methodology implemented aims to provide knowledge about the empirical and theoretical production of historical knowledge from a located perspective in the coexistence of research subjectivities in academic training and its heuristic sources. So the methodological device of action research was required as epistemic and political support for our conclusions.
