Sumario:The main objective of the paper is to characterize certain fundamental elements of contemporary education from the transcendental analytic of Alain Badiou. Educational situations are represented as complex structures of repetition that are exposed to possible disruptions. These are linked to changes in the logical rules of a particular field, in our case we will be interested in the field of education. These rules are those that dispose the regime of existence and relations for the members of the educational universe. In keeping with the contributions of Jacques Rancière, we hold that the hegemonic pedagogical field is crossed by a transcendental one that we call explanatory, which has two fundamental characteristics: that of classifying its members according to their possession or non-possession of certain knowledge and, in consequently, to advocate the activities of transfer and incorporation of those contents. The article also aims to develop the philosophical concept of "change" or "event" applied to education.
