Educational situations are represented as complex structures of repetition that are exposed to possible disruptions. These are linked to changes in the logical rules of a particular field, in our case we will be interested in the field of education. These rules are those that dispose the regime of existence and relations for the members of the educational universe. In keeping with the contributions of Jacques Rancière, we hold that the hegemonic pedagogical field is crossed by a transcendental one that we call explanatory, which has two fundamental characteristics: that of classifying its members according to their possession or non-possession of certain knowledge and, in consequently, to advocate the activities of transfer and incorporation of those contents. The article also aims to develop the philosophical concept of "change" or "event" applied to education. El objetivo principal del artículo es caracterizar ciertos elementos fundamentales de la educación contemporánea a partir de la analítica transcendental de Alain Badiou. Las situaciones educativas son representadas como estructuras complejas de repetición que se encuentran expuestas a posibles disrupciones. Éstas se hallan ligadas a los cambios de las reglas lógicas de un ámbito particular, en nuestro caso nos interesaremos por el ámbito educativo. Estas reglas son las que disponen el régimen de existencia y de relaciones para los integrantes del universo educativo. Sostenemos, en consonancia con los aportes de Jacques Rancière, que el ámbito pedagógico hegemónico está atravesado por un trascendental que denominamos explicativo, que posee dos características fundamentales: la de clasificar a sus integrantes según su posesión o no-posesión de determinados saberes y, en consecuencia, la de propugnar las actividades de transferencia e incorporación de aquellos contenidos. El artículo también se propone desarrollar el concepto filosófico de "cambio" o "acontecimiento" aplicado a la educación.
