The research emphasizes on “the knowledge, use and appropriation of ICTs by administrative staff for university management and administration in Universidad Nacional de Río Negro-Andina Region”. From the data obtained through extensive fieldwork, this study sought to provide basic information to design actions and strategies on the appropriation of ICTs to support teaching and technical-administrative management in the various areas of the educational community. Thus, in this paper, we present the practical objective of this research which consists of reporting a series of actions to support and facilitate education according to the specific demands of individuals by means of a framework based on communities of practice. El trabajo presenta una aproximación a los resultados de un estudio de caso desarrollado en la Universidad Nacional de Río Negro. El estudio tiene el interés por el “saber, uso y apropiación de las TIC para la gestión y administración universitaria por parte de los no-docentes en la Universidad Nacional de Río Negro-Sede Andina”. A partir de los datos obtenidos mediante un amplio trabajo de campo, este estudio buscó proporcionar información básica que permita diseñar acciones y estrategias sobre la apropiación de TIC en apoyo a la docencia y la gestión técnico-administrativa en las diversas áreas de la comunidad educativa. Es entonces que en este articulo también se presenta el objetivo práctico de dicha investigación que consta del registro de una serie de acciones de apoyo y facilitación educativa a las demandas puntuales de los sujetos a partir de un marco de trabajo basado en comunidades de práctica.
